TZO 400

TZO 400 1/8 Off-Road Buggy Tyres (Set of 4)

The TZO 400 is a 1/8 off-road buggy tyre designed for loose and loamy track conditions, with a tread pattern focused on generating strong forward traction and side bite. The tyre is suited to tracks where maintaining drive through loose surfaces while retaining predictable cornering control is important.

The 400 features TZO's V Cut tread pattern, developed to provide strong forward bite through loose, powder-like surfaces. The tyre was developed and raced at the 2024 Silver State event, where the V Cut pattern was used on the loose track surface.

Combining design features from the TZO 402 and 202 tyres, the 400 is designed to provide a balance of forward drive, cornering traction and control across loose, loamy conditions.

• Pre-Glued Set – Includes four (4) tyres factory mounted and glued to TZO wheels with foam inserts installed, ready to race.
• Unglued Set – Includes four (4) tyres, four (4) TZO wheels, and four (4) foam inserts. Assembly and gluing required.
• Tyres Only – Includes four (4) tyres only. Wheels and foam inserts sold separately.

Ultra Soft

Best Working Temperature: 0–27°C (0–80°F)

Designed for maximum grip in cool, cold or wet conditions and low-traction tracks.

• Traction: Maximum grip
• Best For: Low traction, cold or wet track conditions
• Feel: Extremely soft with maximum forward bite

Super Soft

Best Working Temperature: 27–38°C (80–100°F)

A very high-grip compound suited to medium to low traction tracks in warmer conditions.

• Traction: Very high grip
• Best For: Medium to low traction tracks in warm conditions
• Feel: Very soft with strong forward bite

Soft

Best Working Temperature: 27–38°C (80–100°F)

The all-round compound for a wide range of track conditions.

Medium

Best Working Temperature: 32–38°C (90–100°F)

Designed for high-traction tracks and hotter conditions where added stability is required.
