TZO 601

TZO 601 1/8 Off-Road Buggy Tyres (Set of 4)

The TZO 601 is a 1/8 off-road buggy tyre developed for dusty, loamy and rough track conditions, particularly where inconsistent or changing surfaces make predictable handling important. Its large pin, square lug tread provides strong forward traction and consistent grip across difficult and uneven race surfaces.

The tread uses large, widely spaced lugs to allow the tyre to dig through loose dirt and dust while maintaining traction on rough surfaces. The tread edges feature a rounded profile with a zigzag pattern, designed to reduce the likelihood of the tyre catching ruts and bumps and to provide smoother, more predictable handling through rough sections of the track.

The TZO 601 is suited to dry, high-grip tracks where the surface is rough or inconsistent, while also performing in damp and more heavily grooved conditions. Its predictable driving characteristics make it suitable for both qualifying and longer main events where maintaining consistent performance throughout the race is important.

• Pre-Glued Set – Includes four (4) tyres factory mounted and glued to TZO wheels with foam inserts installed, ready to race.
• Unglued Set – Includes four (4) tyres, four (4) TZO wheels, and four (4) foam inserts. Assembly and gluing required.
• Tyres Only – Includes four (4) tyres only. Wheels and foam inserts sold separately.

Unless otherwise selected, TZO tyre sets are supplied factory mounted and glued to TZO wheels with foam inserts installed, ready for racing.

Ultra Soft

Best Working Temperature: 0–27°C (0–80°F)

Designed for maximum grip in cool, cold or wet conditions and low-traction tracks.

• Traction: Maximum grip
• Best For: Low traction, cold or wet track conditions
• Feel: Extremely soft with maximum forward bite

Super Soft

Best Working Temperature: 27–38°C (80–100°F)

A very high-grip compound suited to medium to low traction tracks in warmer conditions.
